The grant covers a large part of the cost
The government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays a grant straight off the price of your installation. The standard amount is £7,500. Off-grid homes on oil or LPG qualify for £9,000, available now until 31 March 2027.
Because we are MCS certified, we apply for the grant on your behalf and take it off your quote up front. You never pay it and claim it back. Qualifying installations also carry 0 percent VAT until March 2027.

Your Heat Pump Blueprint
A full room-by-room heat loss survey and a designed system, with a fixed written scope and price. The survey is £250 plus VAT, and that fee is wiped from the final bill when you go ahead with the install.
Installation and commissioning
A clean MCS install, usually about a week start to finish, one or two jobs at a time, with the system properly commissioned and dialled in.
Handover and aftercare
We show you how it runs, and we are here afterwards, with servicing when it is due.

This family’s oil boiler had packed up entirely, no heating and no hot water, and they assumed switching to a heat pump would mean months of delays and paperwork. We ran the heat loss survey within a week, sorted the grant and the permissions, and had an Ideal Logic Air 8kW and a new 250-litre cylinder installed and commissioned just over three weeks from their first call. After the grant it came in at around the cost of fitting another oil boiler, but with lower running costs and no more deliveries.

Yes, when it is designed for the house. We run a room-by-room heat loss survey and size the system and radiators to match, so the heat is steady even through an East Devon cold snap. Heat pumps run homes in Norway at minus fifteen. The difference is always the design.

Insulation helps any heating system, oil and gas included, but your home loses the same amount of heat either way, and we design the heat pump to meet that heat loss. If a bit of insulation would genuinely help, we will say so. We will not invent a condition you do not need.

Your heat loss report sets out the estimated running figures for your own home, so you see real numbers rather than a sales pitch. Against very cheap oil on a standard tariff the saving can be modest, which is why the bigger wins are a dedicated heat pump electricity tariff and an end to oil-price swings and delivery charges. We will always be straight with you on this.
