Friendly, professional heat pump installation. It was a challenge, plumbing-wise and electrically, as the house is circa 1750, Eco Pro worked through and successfully completed a neat, functional system.

Owner's reply
Thanks so much, Phil! A house from around 1750 kept us on our toes with the pipework and the wiring, so good to hear the finished system looks neat and does its job. Old places like yours are worth the extra thought 😊

James and his team were excellent from start to finish. We wanted to replace our oil fired boiler with an Air Source Heat Pump. Other firms were very inflexible with location of the pump and associated equipment. James took time to understand our preferences and made it happen even in very tight spaces. Great to find a reliable and professional local Devon business. Thanks

Owner's reply
Thanks so much, Paul! Where the heat pump and the rest of the kit end up is your call, so it was worth the extra head-scratching to make it work in those tight spots. Enjoy life without the oil boiler 😊

A job well done. Considerate and tidy plumber and electricians. When there was a manufacturing problem this was quickly dealt with and resolved.

Owner's reply
Thanks so much, Judith! Sorry the manufacturing fault cropped up at all, but glad we got it sorted for you quickly. The plumber and electricians will be pleased to hear you found them considerate and tidy 😊

We're glad we decided to go with Eco Pro Renewables Ltd for our air sourced heat pump solution. James proved both conscientious and innovative, proposing a solution that addressed both the nature of our property and our requirements. The installing plumbing team and electricians were diligent, tidy and mindful. We're more than happy to recommend considering Eco Pro.

Owner's reply
Thanks so much for the great review! Working out a design that suited the property rather than forcing a standard setup on it was the most important part of the job. Really glad the plumbing team and electricians looked after you well too!

For our new house we were considering an Air Source Heat Pump and James did a great job of not only quoting for us to source all the materials and install the system but also educating us on the benefits and considerations of getting a heat pump compared to keeping a gas system and replacing our existing boiler.

No pressure to go either way but an honest assessment of what we should consider. We have an old house and we’re considering certain insulation upgrades as part of our renovation, which James was very patient in considering (and amending) with our heat pump plans, specs and what that meant for our radiator and underfloor heating requirements.

Overall, James has been thoroughly supportive, helpful, professional and patient in all conversations and dealings with us - including grant process and working closely with our builders on scheduling of the works. I could recommend James’ services enough and would choose him again for any future works. We got solar panels at the same time but through another firm and now understand James is looking to offer this service - I wish we had been able to engage James to do those works for us then too!

Owner's reply
Thanks so much, Aletta! With the insulation upgrades changing what the house needed, it was worth reworking the specs and radiators a few times to get it right. Really glad the grant side and fitting around your builders went smoothly too 😊

We were doing a huge amount of work to our new house and an Air Source Heat Pump was something we wanted to consider to move away from gas - due to cost and the unstable prices.

We spoke to a number of providers and all made me very nervous about costs and work involved…our house was older and would need some changes to radiators etc, and some said I would need to reinstate the whole roof!?..….

Wasn’t feeling very positive.

EcoPro totally changed my feelings - they assessed the heat loss, explained all the things in detail and had a conversation about options and what we could change, what we could do to save some money or could we take a different approach…. It was a totally joint discussion to get the right solution which filled me with confidence….and they had all the answers. Not once was I told something was too difficult or timely!

I’ve since not really had to get involved with anything and it’s all just happened around me! Few decisions here and there but they’ve just taken care of it all.

Systems works great and I’m really pleased!

Thank you again for choosing Eco Pro Renewables and for taking the time to share your experience.

Can’t recommend Eco Pro enough. We’d been putting off replacing our old oil boiler for ages because we didn’t really understand what the alternatives were, but James took the time to sit down and explain it all properly, no pressure, just honest advice about what would actually work for our house near Crediton, Devon. You could tell he genuinely knew his stuff and wasn’t just trying to sell us the most expensive option. The heat pump install itself was spot on the lads were great and James followed up afterwards to make sure everything was running properly and set us up on an app to control everything. All certificates for warrenty etc came in a well organised “handover pack”. Super impressed !If you’re on the fence about switching to a heat pump, just give James a call you won’t regret it

Owner's reply
Thanks so much, Conor! Honest advice with no pressure is exactly how we try to do things, so really glad it helped you make the switch from oil at your place near Crediton. Enjoy having everything on the app 😊

We had Eco Pro Renewables fit a heat source pump at our house in Windsor Square and they were amazing. All the workmen were polite and respectful and cleaned up after themselves. Good communication throughout, answering our questions and working to suit us. Couldn't recommend them any higher, and the system has worked trouble free ever since.

Owner's reply
Thanks so much, John! The team always aim to leave a place as tidy as they found it, so glad that came through at Windsor Square. Brilliant that it's run trouble free ever since 😊

Owner's reply
Thanks, John! Really glad the annual check overs and quick responses have kept your ground source system running well, that ongoing aftercare is a big part of what we do 😊

Honestly the best company to work with. Great communication throughout from James, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Attention to detail was 10/10.

We love our air source heat pump! At first, we didn’t have anywhere suitable for it at the back of the house, so we agreed to have it at the front but it looks so neat and we’re really happy with everything. It’s super efficient and almost silent too.

It’s great to have a company like this in Exeter. We recommend them to all our friends and family.

Owner's reply
Thanks so much, Jade! Really pleased it's running so quietly and efficiently for you. And thanks for recommending us around Exeter, that genuinely means a lot 😊

We were looking to replace our ageing gas heating system with something more efficient, and after speaking with James, we knew we’d found the right company. He took the time to understand our home, explained everything clearly, and recommended the right air source heat pump without any pressure.

From the very beginning, we were impressed by the detailed heat loss survey, It gave us confidence that the system was being designed specifically for our home in West Hill, Ottery St. Mary.

The installation team were professional, friendly, and tidy, and completed the work to an exceptionally high standard.

We’d happily recommend Eco Pro to anyone considering an air source heat pump. The whole experience was great, professional, and exceeded our expectations

Owner's reply

We had an excellent 10/10 experience with James and would highly recommend him.

He went above and beyond to help update the heating system in our current housing project. Communication was outstanding throughout, he responded quickly and always provided clear explanations whenever we had questions.

James also supported us in organising additional tradespeople whenever needed, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

The house is finally warm, comfortable, and looking much more modern.

Thank you, James 😊

P.s We'll give you a break now before the next project 😛

Owner's reply
Ah that’s great to hear! Thanks so much for the kind words!

I’m really glad we got everything sorted for you. Hearing that makes it all worth it 🙌

You know where I am when the next project starts 😄

Thanks again 😊

Excellent – 10/10! A great company to work with. Communication was excellent throughout, with quick responses and clear explanations whenever we had questions.

The heat pump is almost silent, which was something we were worried about, and the results have been fantastic. We’re lovely and warm and always have plenty of hot water. Great work 👍

Owner's reply

We were very pleased with the installation of our 22 kW heat pump.
Despite parts of the farmhouse being 13th century the system is performing extremely well and keeps the house constantly warm throughout. The installation was carried out professionally with great attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.

The same company have also installed heat pump systems across our rental properties, All completed efficiently and to an excellent standard.
We are very happy with the service and would highly recommend this company.

Owner's reply
Thanks, Barbara! It’s been a pleasure working with you, and we really appreciate your recommendation.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to work on your behalf.
Many thanks — Stephen Moore — Hampshire
